Creative Arts Ministry

creativeartsCreative Arts is a new type of ministry that is being introduced into churches. For decades, churches used different types of media and technology that really didn’t fit in any type of ministry. Some were overhead projectors, hymnals, newspaper and mail. But in the last few years, technology grew in a stunning rate that many churches are not able to catch up.

Churches are struggling to keep of with the technology that is affecting many of the outreach we have with this media generation.

The questions that churches are asking are:

What is a website? How do we use it? What is twitter? What is Facebook? What is a podcast? What is sound board? What is a projector? What computer do we use? …and so on.

So how do we as a church overcome this hurdle?

…easily! We need a “catch all” place for all these technological questions! This is how Creative Arts was formed!

So…What is “Creative Arts”?

Great question! In our church we use to call this “Media and Technology.” That term for most people scares them to no go near it. But what a lot of people are missing is that there is so much more than computers and technology!

Creative Arts is a ministry where you can be creative as God had made you to be! It is a team of creative people who wants to engage people in a visual way that people will remember it.

It’s a team of : Photographer, Videographer, Designers, Sound Techs, Visual Techs, and more!

Do I have to be an expert?

The answer is no, you don’t have to be an expert. If you are willing to learn and willing to serve, we want you on our team! Most of our “Tech” work is a single click on a keyboard. We want people to help the church in a way that we haven’t reached yet.

If you are creative and want to be involved in any way, we would love to have you on our team!
