Life Story

I joined the staff of First Baptist Church in 2007. I married my high school sweetheart, Ginger, in 1997. We have three daughters, Macy, Mallory, and Molly. I graduated from Ouachita Baptist University in 1997 and Dallas Theological Seminary in 2005. Before coming to FBC, I served churches in Prattsville, AR (youth pastor); Sheridan, AR (associate pastor); and Dallas, TX (children’s pastor). Initially at FBC, I served as Pastor of Children & Families. I currently oversee our Life Groups, Assimilation, and Counseling ministries.

Salvation Experience: I believed in Jesus Christ my Savior and was baptized in the summer of 1984.

What is your favorite food? Chicken Enchiladas (I recommend the Mama Mary’s Special at Tarascos)
What do you like to do in your spare time? Meteorology, Arkansas Razorbacks, Voice of the Russellville Cyclones
What is your favorite thing about church ministry? I enjoy teaching people the truth of God’s Word and counseling couples & families through conflict resolution
